I'd rather like that it's possible to launch affinity with a shortcut. Like the gnome-launch-box for me does with Ctrl+space. It works very well, so i hope affinity will get this sort-of feature too.

And i have one bug/enhancement: running affinity and
"closing" the window doesn't quit affinity. If you launch affinity another time, you have two affinities in your systray. It'd be much better if the old affinity will popup, so you cannot launch it a second time :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777643573072664808.post-40800782499389246432007-03-31T16:56:00.000+01:002007-03-31T16:56:00.000+01:00LOL, good question, i was wondering that too.LOL, good question, i was wondering that too.Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17721292326413607451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777643573072664808.post-45263494124443575952007-03-31T06:08:00.000+01:002007-03-31T06:08:00.000+01:00Are you still alive?Are you still alive?Jack Kerouachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07717056374747442128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777643573072664808.post-7445642222614158782007-03-21T16:57:00.000+00:002007-03-21T16:57:00.000+00:00Great stuff dude. (mainly because I made this package to the unsupported community repo and in arch we don't have a decent gui package manager so I might replace that for a terminal) I've even looked at the code yet I cannot find it (I still haven't finished learning gobject/gtk).
And now that I'm talking about the package... the main icon, the one besides the searchbox and all the ones in the bottom right have no icon... where does it looks for it? so I can package them altogether.
btw... this is the best blog in all gnome planet =)Javierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04181678547087527474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777643573072664808.post-18302304606390216392007-03-19T16:30:00.000+00:002007-03-19T16:30:00.000+00:00affinityAction Engine : Scanning /home/mauro/.gnom...affinity
Action Engine : Scanning /home/mauro/.gnome2/affinity/actions
Action Engine : Scanning /usr/local/share/affinity/actions
Application Engine : Scanning /home/mauro/.local/share/applications
Application Engine : Scanning /usr/local/share/applications
Application Engine : Scanning /usr/share/applications
Application Engine : Scanning /usr/share/applications/kde
Application Engine : Scanning /usr/share/applications/screensavers
Desktop Search Engine : Tracker

(affinity:11100): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_theme_load_icon: assertion `error == NULL || *error == NULL' failed

(affinity:11100): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_theme_load_icon: assertion `error == NULL || *error == NULL' failed

(affinity:11100): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_icon_theme_load_icon: assertion `error == NULL || *error == NULL' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

and now?mauro21https://www.blogger.com/profile/12323331912361833489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7777643573072664808.post-84127977046705988212007-03-18T13:20:00.000+00:002007-03-18T13:20:00.000+00:00A nice feature would be that the input field can a...A nice feature would be that the input field can also act the same as the run-dialog from gnome.
If so, it could replace the gnome-run-dialog, and you can easily start programs where you already know the exact name of.

Or it could be that affinity selects the "best result" out of the list while you're typing.
